“Building Capacity: Improving Performance”

Programme Description

This programme helps an organisation to build a bridge between the present and the future. It uses tools in the three dimensions of leading, managing and equipping.
It raises awareness of these three dimensions and helps all staff understand how they can work within and across them to improve professional effectiveness and organisational performance.
The last part of the programme enables staff with particular responsibilities to apply their understanding to develop that specific role.


Who is this for?

This programme is for any organisation that recognises a gap between where it is now and where it would like to be in the future.This programme is unashamedly people focused and is designed to be relevant to all staff in a school.

What is the programme design?

Whilst the sequence of sessions is pre-set, the nature of each session, particularly the emphases and contexts are a matter of negotiation between the provider and the client to ensure that the particular organisational needs are met.The course provider will need access to the organisation's performance data, self-evaluation and management plan in order to plan realistic contexts for exemplification and exercises.
